Plot: The story centers on Don Collier, a tank team leader nicknamed "War Daddy," and his tank team. During a respite after a deadly battle, Norman, a typist with no battlefield experience, is assigned to Don's tank, The Fury. Although Norman first arrives on the battlefield, angry about his treatment and can not accept his new comrades' rude and violent side, he still receives a new mission with the team members - to the next town on a volunteer mission.
