Such a frustrating disappointment
So much average

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Have been enjoying this show from episode 1. Here's what I appreciate the most:
-I love how the main character is introduced and how, bit by bit, we get to know him better.
-Such great performances, especially from Freddie and Antonia Thomas (so good, loved her on "misfits" btw).
Medically accurate - I like how not every patient has to be in an exceptionally rare condition. That's the one thing I didn't love about "House M.D", as I felt like it often drove the show away from reality.-Dr. Glassman and Shaun's relationship. It feels very genuine.
Sound design: super simplistic and discrete, but really helped me get into the more emotional moments.-The way it portrays autism. Perfect balance between television (and showing it in an interesting, appealling way, that actually helps people identify with and be interested to learn more) and real life.Would definitely recommend it. Check it out for yourself.
I used to think that the new crop of actors didn't have much to offer, but then along came Freddie Highmore and taught me differently. This young actor is definitely, carrying this, at times, implausible series. He is charismatic and extremely watchable. Every week he brings a new nuance to the character without making a caricature out of it. Amazing.
The performances are wonderful and the plots, i.e., the medical cases as well as the problems and some prejudices among the staff are excellent ; in addition to enjoying it I learned a lot.
This is one of the most exceptional series you can watch. Apart from the extra-ordinary acting skills by the entire cast, the drama, the story, the direction, and the mostly-scientific medical jargon, the series just makes you live. Forget the condition, its not focused solely on the spectrum and abilities, but also gives an integral view on life. Things go wrong, you laugh, you cry, and sometimes you have fun. This show will take you through everything in a roller-coaster. I did not expect the series to be this good. All the hype around is not mis-placed. Open your arms to #TheGoodDoctor
