Plot: Lucy Liu plays Dr. Joan Watson in the television series Elementary, and Jonny Lee Miller plays Sherlock Holmes, a consulting detective in contemporary New York. Sherlock is made to live with Dr. Watson, a sober buddy, by his affluent father following his fall from favor in London and rehab. Watson is a successful surgeon but lost her license three years ago.
