Plot: Umma is enraged with Amanda for disregarding her culture, especially after raising her alone in a faraway nation. Amanda is taken over by Umma as she attempts to bury the urn. Wearing a mask and hanbok (Korean dress), Umma conducts the Jesa ritual—a rite to honor departed ancestors—through Amanda's body, fulfilling a lifelong desire. Amanda confronts Chrissy once she discovers her mother is possessed, but Chrissy just manages to get away. After that, Amanda makes the decision to speak with her Umma, letting her know that although she recognizes the difficulties of being a single parent in a foreign nation, the abuse is still unacceptable.
