Plot: Teen Justin sucks his thumb. His dad attempts to assist him. Although he adores a girl and his thumb, he joins a debating club. At school, he is by himself. In the bathroom, he hides. His thumb is stopped by hypnosis used by his dentist. For ADD, his psychologist prescribes medications. He quits using his thumb and becomes well-liked and intelligent. He struggles more with drugs and his family. This film is about coming of age.

Plot: Rich model maker Annie comes from a family of unstable people.
