Plot: Tom Ripley is a normal person. He is asked by a wealthy man to persuade his son, Dickie living in Italian, to go back and live in America. But when Tom arrives, he is corrupted by the beautiful woman, luxurious and extravagant life, and high-class and fancy mansion. Tom is envious of all of these and wants total Dickie’s place. Eventually, however, policemen suspect Tom and laugh an investigation.

Plot: Due to his wife's and her lover's murders in 1947, young banker Andy is sentenced to life in prison. Shortly afterward, Andy made an effort to become close to the well-known Red among the inmates, and the two grew to know one another. Andy then utilized his professional expertise to assist the prison administration in avoiding paying taxes and in money laundering while simultaneously earning the respect of the inmates through his interactions with Red.
