Plot: Shaun lives in quaint Orange County and attends an unremarkable high school. He had a carefree lifestyle and enjoyed surfing, so several pals joined him. However, everything shifts one day when Shaun sees one of his friends suffer a surfing accident. It was then that he happened to find a copy of Marcus Skinner's book The Neat Jacket in a well-known sand spot. Shaun read it multiple times before deciding he wanted to be a writer instead of pursuing his ambition of being a professional surfer.
