Plot: Beatrice McCready, the aunt of 4-year-old Amanda McCready, employs Patrick Kenzie and Angie Gennaro as private investigators when the daughter vanishes from her house and the police are unable to solve the case. Plot: Due to his wife's and her lover's murders in 1947, young banker Andy is sentenced to life in prison. Shortly afterward, Andy made an effort to become close to the well-known Red among the inmates, and the two grew to know one another. Andy then utilized his professional expertise to assist the prison administration in avoiding paying taxes and in money laundering while simultaneously earning the respect of the inmates through his interactions with Red.
