Plot: San Diego news anchor Ron Burgundy works at a station. He is immensely well-liked, and across all demographics, his news pieces come in #1. But all of the reporters on his news crew are men. Veronica Corningstone was employed by the station as a female reporter as part of an attempt to diversify. Veronica stealthily makes her way to the top while Ron Burgundy spars with opponents, drinks, and makes out with the girls. Veronica's success drove Ron Burgundy insane.
